Cleanliness Event at Sector 15 Market Faridabad

I Love My City is a social organisation, which keeps organising various social awareness programmes. Organisation Founder PP Singh felt that as Delhi is gearing up for Commonwealth games and Faridabad no less. In their drive to create awareness among the people on cleanliness and hygiene, free dustbins were distributed to road side vendors and phamplets were given to the visiting customers and various shopkeepers to bring awareness.



Geared with brooms, dust pans and gloves volunteers picked the garbage from various nooks and corners and along side shouted slogans The event was well supported by various elite dignitaries as follows: Mr. Somnath Malhotra – Councillor Mr. Sajjan Jain – President Faridabad Industry AssociationMr. TD Jatwani – RWA President – Sector-15 Mr. Manohar Puniani – President Sector 15 market Mr. Sunil Gulati – RWA President Sector -14


Slogans used were“Kurre ki jugha kahn per hai ………Kurredan me” — Where does garbage belong to………..in the Dustbin” Meri Market Mera Ghar Hai Ao ise saaf rakhe” —- My Market is my home, lets keep it Clean.” Jhan hai Kurra bemari hai whan — Where ever there is garbage disease come free there “Clean city ………….Green City.


The 4 year old Volunteer Ankita felt pride in picking up the litter to clean the city and the market. Mr.TD Jatwani, oldest of the group, though with his aching joints enthusiastically support the cause. Mrs.Manbir Kaur a volunteer and school teacher felt that creating awareness is the first step to bring change.

Another volunteer Amarjit Kaur Bains created high energy slogans which kept the tempo of the campiagn very high as they marched through the market.
